1 packet Harvestime Straight Cut Chips

2 tablespoons Oil

1 onion chopped

2 cloves Garlic

2 tablespoon curry powder

3 chopped tomatoes

1 tin kidney beans rinsed and drained

1 tin lentils rinsed and drained

Few teaspoons Inkomazi

1 small onion diced

3 red chillies – deseeded and chopped

Squeeze of lemon juice

Spring onions chopped

Salt and pepper to taste


Serves: 4 - 6

Prep Time: 5 minutes

Total Time: 30 minutes


  1. Heat oil, add onions and allow to cook before adding garlic and spices
  2. Add chopped tomatoes and mix well
  3. Allow to simmer for 8-10 minutes until the tomatoes have softened – add a little water if needed
  4. While the tomatoes are cooking, cook the chips and set aside.
  5. Add the lentils and kidney beans
  6. Season, cook for a further 5 minutes and remove from the heat.
  7. Place the lentil and kidney bean mixture onto the hot chips
  8. Dollop with the inkomazi, chopped onions, chopped red chili and spring onions
  9. Sprinkle salt and pepper and enjoy
  10. Enjoy with your friends & family
