Russians, Peas, Chips and Gravy


Harvestime Chips – Straight cut

2 cups Harvestime Peas

1 teaspoon crushed garlic

1 teaspoon mixed herbs

2 tablespoons Margarine

10 Russian Sausages

2 teaspoons Oil

Salt and pepper to taste

Gravy of choice for serving


Prep Time: 5 minutes

Cooking Time: 25 minutes

Serves: 5


  1. Cook Harvestime chips according to package instructions
  2. Heat oil in a pan and fry the sausages until browned and cooked – remove the sausages and set aside
  3. Wipe off excess oil and add the margarine to the pan
  4. Add in garlic and mixed herbs, followed by the frozen peas
  5. Allow to sauté for 5 - 6 minutes – stirring frequently, season and remove from the heat
  6. Serve the Russians with the Harvestime chips, sauteed peas and gravy on the side
