Chicken Livers & Green Beans


Harvestime Green Beans  

1 kg chicken livers – cleaned


1 large onion finely sliced

2 tablespoons crushed garlic

2 green chillies sliced in half

1 large tomato chopped

2 tablespoons curry powder

2 teaspoons cumin powder

2 teaspoons coriander powder

Water – as needed

Salt and pepper


Serves: 4-6

Prep Time: 5 minutes

Total Time: 45 minutes  


  1. In a large pot on medium heat add the oil and start frying onions until translucent
  2. Add the garlic and green chillies
  3. Add the spices and saute for 30 seconds before adding the liver
  4. Cook for 5 minutes and then add the tomato and green beans
  5. Cover and allow to cook for 25 -30 minutes until the green beans are cooked through
  6. Adjust seasoning
